Jaboqi as he calls himself has been in the game for over a decade and half, right from his secondary school days at Federal Government College, Ijanikin, Lagos to his days at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

Bafulatana was first produced over ten years ago by OBLACK after breaking away from HALIYYA RECORDS where KONI-KONI crooner KLEVER JAY started his musical career. The song title-Bafulatana is a Hausa word for a Lady or woman from the Fulani origin. This song talks about his love life with his anonymous girl-friend, mother and the Fulani race at large. The song also touch the aspect of misconceptions about the Fulani people seen as terrorist group in Nigeria due to the incessant killing by the so called Fulani Herdsmen expecially in Benue, Taraba, Jos and Kaduna State.

In this song, Jaboqi attributed the Herdsmen crisis as a political propaganda by politicians to sabotage the efforts of the present administration in combating insurgency and dependency on oil by diversifying the nation’s economy through agriculture.

The song also acknowledged the existence, roles and importance of a mother as the number one factor that affects the positive development life-cycle of a child, adding that one cannot appreciate a mother without giving due respect and honor to the father.

Finally in his outro, Jaboqi enjoins the youths to pursue adequate education. According to him, the only way to prove the world wrong about the perceptions they have on Fulani people been terrorists can only be achieved through quality education.
